Spring is right around the corner. It's time to finally put away all your winter clothes and welcome the new season with these ten refreshing spring-inspired cocktails:

1. Mint Julep

1. Mint Julep

Ingredients:

  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Crushed ice

Directions:

  • In a glass, muddle 2 sprigs of mint with simple syrup
  • Fill the glass 1/2 full with crushed ice
  • Add bourbon and stir
  • Garnish with mint

2. Honeysuckle Tequila

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce honey syrup*
  • 1 ounce lime juice

Directions:

  • In a shaker, combine all ingredients
  • Shake with ice
  • Strain into a glass
  • Garnish with a lime wedge

 

3. Bee's Knees

3. Bee's Knees

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce lemonade
  • 1 ounce honey syrup*
  • 5 sprigs of thyme

Directions:

  • Muddle the sprigs of thyme in a cocktail shaker
  • Add the gin, lemonade, and honey syrup
  • Shake for a minute
  • Strain into a glass
  • Garnish with thyme sprigs
4. Cucumber Aloe Gin

4. Cucumber Aloe Gin

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces gin
  • 2 ounces aloe vera juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 3 slices cucumber
  • Fresh lime juice

Directions:

  • Muddle together the cucumber and simple syrup
  • Add the other ingredients and shake well
  • Strain into a cocktail glass
  • Garnish with cucumber
5. La Paloma

5. La Paloma

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce grapefruit juice
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 1.5 ounces grapefruit jarritos
  • Splash of lime juice

Directions:

  • Fill a glass with ice
  • Combine the grapefruit, orange, and lime juices with the grapefruit jarrito
  • Stir well
  • Present the cocktail with the 2 ounces of tequila on the side in a shot glass
  • To drink, pour the tequila into the glass without mixing
6. Strawberry Orange Vodka

6. Strawberry Orange Vodka

Ingredients:

  • 1 strawberry
  • 1 slice of orange
  • 1.5 ounces vodka
  • Mint
  • Splash of champagne
  • Dash of simple syrup

Directions:

  • Muddle the strawberry, orange, and mint together
  • Add a dash of simple syrup
  • Shake with ice and vodka
  • Strain into a rocks glass with ice
  • Top with a splash of champagne
  • Garnish with mint
7. Pineapple Mezcal

7. Pineapple Mezcal

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces mezcal
  • 1 ounce honey syrup*
  • 1/2 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • Splash of pineapple juice

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients into a mixing glass
  • Top with ice, and shake well
  • Strain into a rocks glass with ice
8. Strawberry Rose Gin

8. Strawberry Rose Gin

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce rose liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce strawberry liqueur
  • 1 ounce agave nectar
  • Cucumber

Directions:

  • Combine all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker
  • Shake and strain into a glass over ice
  • Garnish with cucumber slices
9. Ginger Sage Prosecco

9. Ginger Sage Prosecco

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of prosecco
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 1 cup of honey
  • 3 cups of water
  • 2 pears, diced
  • 1 large piece of ginger, diced
  • 20 fresh sage leaves

Directions:

  • In a saucepan, combine the honey and water over medium heat, and bring to a boil
  • Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the honey has dissolved
  • Add the pears, ginger, and sage leaves
  • Simmer for 15 minutes
  • Remove from heat, and let sit for ten minutes
  • Strain the syrup
  • Add some of the syrup into a wine glass and then top with prosecco
  • Garnish with sage leaves
10. Sparkling Peach Bourbon

10. Sparkling Peach Bourbon

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce bourbon
  • 2 dashes peach bitters
  • 1 ounce peach liqueur
  • Sparkling wine

Directions:

  • Shake ingredients with ice
  • Strain into a glass, and top with sparkling wine

*To make honey syrup, combine 1/2 cup of honey and 1/2 cup of water to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until blended, and then strain into a jar. It'll keep in the fridge for up to a month.
