10 EASY ALL-NATURAL DIY FACIALS

Guess what? You don’t have to go to a fancy spa to receive a quality facial.

Save yourself some money and try out these ten fabulous all-natural facials. For optimal results, before each treatment, be sure to gently cleanse and exfoliate.

1. Wine Facial

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

This facial’s great for slowing the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup wine
  • 1/4 cup kaolin clay
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon oat flour

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Apply to your face and neck. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

2. Acai Berry Facial

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes

Want to tighten your pores naturally, freshly, and cheaply? Then this is the facial for you.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons acai powder
  • 10 fresh berries
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Mash the acai berries into the sugar and acai powder. Add the olive oil and stir in with a spoon. Massage the mixture on your face. Leave on for five minutes. Rinse with warm water.

3. Strawberry Facial

Prep time: 15 minutes

Total time: 35 minutes

Dry, rough skin has a “berry” rough time standing up to this facial.

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup bee pollen
  • 3 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive-oil mayonnaise
  • A few drops lavender oil

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Apply the mixture to your face, avoiding the area around your eyes. Leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

4. Beer Facial

Prep time: 5 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes

Brighten a dull complexion by pouring it a cold one. This facial will have you glowing.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice

Directions

Combine egg whites, beer, and lime juice. Massage the mixture on your face. Leave on 10 minutes. Wash off with warm water.

5. Spirulina Facial

Prep time: 5 minutes

Your complexion will never spiral out of control if you add this facial to your beauty routine. It works to even out your skin tone.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon spirulina powder
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions: Mix the spirulina powder and banana, and then add the lemon juice. Apply to your face, and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

6. Clam Shell Facial

Prep time: 20 minutes

Total time: 25 minutes

You’ll see a sea-change in your complexion with this facial for puffy skin. It works well in the morning, before you’ve done anything else to your skin. And it’s especially effective on the skin under your eyes.

Ingredients

  • 2 polished clam shells
  • Bowl of ice

Directions

Immerse your clam shells in ice for 20 minutes. Insert your fingertip into the narrow mouth of each shell. Gently rub your fingertip over puffy areas on your face.

7. Lavender Facial

Prep time: 10 minutes

Your complexion will bloom with this soothing facial for irritated skin.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • A few drops of lavender oil
  • 1/3 teaspoon dried lavender flowers

Directions

Blend ingredients. Smooth mixture over your face and neck. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

8. Pineapple Papaya Facial

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

Clogged pores open eagerly for this tropical facial.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 fresh papaya, peeled and seeded
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon honey

You will also need a few cotton balls.

Directions

Mash the papaya and pineapple together. Mix in the honey. Swab the mixture on your face with cotton balls. Leave on for 10 minutes. Wash off with warm water.

9. Pumpkin Mask to Rejuvenate Skin

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: 30 minutes

It’s springtime for your complexion with this autumnal facial. It rejuvenates your skin.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pureed pumpkin
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon milk

You will also need a spa brush.

Directions

Mix ingredients well. Spread the mixture on your face with a spa brush. Leave on 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

10. Cinnamon, Honey, and Nutmeg Facial

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: 40 minutes

With this breakfast-y facial, skin inflammation is toast.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Rub mixture on your face. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water, moving your fingertips in a circular motion.

DIY facials: a win for your skin

Facials are actually surprisingly easy to do yourself. In fact, many spa workers pamper clients’ skin with ingredients you can find in your fridge. This means that great skin is as easy as making lunch.
