10 Best Workout Apps with Streaming Classes

Best apps for at-home workouts

Just because the gym is closed, doesn’t mean you can’t get a great workout right at home. Check out these ten totally awesome workout apps that offer streaming workouts:

1. Daily Burn

Daily Burn is a subscription workout app that offers new daily classes at 9 am ET. But, if you can’t make that time, you can always watch the recorded version later in the day, plus many other videos. Daily Burn also can create workout and nutrition plans for you based on your goals, such as toning, burning more calories, and improving your fitness.

2. CorePower on Demand

Do you love yoga, but wish it was more intense? Then CorePower might just be the thing you need! While the company has yoga studios all over the US, you can also take classes virtually. Classes range from full-body yoga and sculpting to meditation, so there’s something for everyone.

3. Peloton

You don’t have to buy a Peloton bike to access their streaming workout content online. For a small amount per month, you can stream unlimited bootcamp, strength, yoga, running, and cycling classes. You also have access to live-streamed classes available every day.

4. Barre3

Barre classes are inspired by ballet, which is excellent for toning your entire body. Barre3, which has tons of studios in 33 states, has a streaming subscription with more than 500 classes. Plus, there’s a new 30-minute class added every week. You just need a few props to get started — a core ball, resistance band, and lightweight dumbbells.

5. TA Online Studio

You’ve probably heard of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson. Her signature workouts focus on toning the entire body through a combination of dance cardio and muscular structure. She’s a favorite of Gwyneth Paltrow, Kim Kardashian, and Madonna. Luckily, she offers online classes you can take anywhere. There are also workouts for every fitness level, from beginner to advanced.

6. Crunch Live

Heard of Crunch gyms? They’re popular nationwide, and now you can stream over 85 workouts online, all inspired by real classes taught at Crunch. Classes feature kickboxing, yoga, barre, and bootcamp.

7. Aaptiv

This subscription workout app is audio-only. But what makes Aaptiv so unique and fabulous is that you can use it to coach outdoor workouts, like running and cycling. Aaptiv also has classes for yoga, strength training, and other indoor workouts. You have access to over 2,500 workout classes, and you can pick workouts based on time, difficulty level, trainer, and more.

8. Glo

If you love more traditional yoga, Glo is one of the most popular prescriptions out there. It offers more than 80 programs to help guide your practice, including hatha, yin, vinyasa, and iyengar, and there are classes for every level of experience within those styles.

9. Sweat

Co-created by Australian fitfluencer Kayla Itsines, the Sweat app offers a variety of workout routines, educational articles, and a community forum to support you throughout your health and fitness journey. Get real-time reminders, track your steps and see your workout history each month, all in one place. Each of the programs has a unique training style and the best part? They’re all created by women for women.

10. Tone It Up

This app was created by trainers Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott. It offers tons of workouts, from yoga and boxing to HIIT and strength training. There are workouts for every level, and they tend to range from 20-to-40 minutes in length. You can also schedule workouts in the app and receive reminders.
