DR. Cheyenne Bryant, a renowned life coach, motivational speaker, and the President of NAACP (branch 1069), is here to share three ways to treat yourself this holiday:
1. Mind
Treating your mind is so important. Why? Because you manifest what you think about. The way you treat your mind is the way the world will treat you. It’s crucial that you give your mind some time to recharge. In what ways can you treat your mind? For some people, it can be as easy as listening to soothing music, but others might prefer to meditate or take a walk in a park. Allow your mind to be free. Don’t think about your obligations.
2. Body
Treating your body is just as critical as treating your mind. They’re both in alignment. If you treat your mind, then you should also treat your body. Give it time to rest. There are so many ways you can treat your body, such as through exercise, sleeping more, and eating healthy. Explore what works best for you.
3. Soul
Your soul is your inner being. Your internal state reflects how you’re doing on the outside. You can treat your soul in a wide variety of ways. Maybe it’s eating pizza while watching your favorite TV show or indulging in your favorite dessert. Whatever you choose, be sure to do it in moderation.
You deserve it!
Don’t just treat yourself during the holiday season — be sure to treat your mind, body, and soul year-round. Carve out time daily to recharge. After all, you use your mind, body, and soul in unison to get everything done that you need to get done, so they deserve to be pampered.
